Gig Rate Calculator

Work out a fair floor price for your next gig, built from your rate, gear depreciation, transport, and overhead. Not a market average. Your actual numbers.

How does this work?

This isn't a market average. It's built from your real numbers, so two musicians with different gear and overhead will get different quotes for the same gig.

Your floor price adds up your rate (a flat fee per set, not per hour), overtime if it runs long, equipment depreciation for whatever gear you toggle on for this gig, transport, and subscriptions like lyric sheets or software. The margin slider then adds your profit on top.

Your gear library is saved so you only enter each item's cost once. Since different gigs need different gear, no items are pre-selected, tap the pieces you're actually bringing each time.

Your rate, overtime rate, gear list, subscriptions, country, and margin are remembered on this device for next time. Event-specific details like the date, hours, and transport cost reset for every new gig.

Everything is calculated and saved in your own browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
